They should rather focus on making Chrome more customizable, less resource hungry and stop all of the tracking and spying!

    Google Chrome = Crap! :thumbd:

Those builds are always quite far behind Google's though right?

Or just compile your own version :)

Or, get one already compiled from sources such as https://chromium.woolyss.com/

chromium is base of chrome and should be earlier present than chrome. ofc those are private builds but recommended. i am running Robs builds, Nik builds are a bit behind but Nik offers the latest final. for the beta i think there is not much difference, ago i switched between Nik and Rob without loss, but Rob is a bit more in time. there exists a chromium builds thread here where you can read latest news or problems.

Marmaduke now appeared with its ungoogled build - only x64 - i would give it a try.

*now making backups when upgrading to v74 and latest 72 final (using 2 profiles)

what i know that google is adding some closed source code for its extensions and pepperflash, maybe more, but it is not "spying" (user independent telemetrie) more or less than firefox or his used Vivaldi.

Quite interesting. I hope Firefox will add similar option, too.

I am not familiar with Rob's or Nik builds. Can you share a link please?

EDIT: For example look at this link. -https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/releases/windows/64bit/

A bit behind the current 72 so I would personally not run it.

Well, take your own advice, because Chromium is garbage too.

Well... highly subjective... At least the "garbage" innovates instead of copying...
