    Hi,

    # Bensec : I removed Google Chrome for the moment, I await steady version.
For you : kill all GoogleUpdate.exe and chrome.exe; uninstall Google Chrome with Ad/Remove Pr.; delete all folders (78 Mb) Google and Chromium on C:\Documents and Settings\Your name\Local Settings\Application Data ; action for CCleaner and RegSeeker; Restart Windows.
Download Google Chrome (Beta) for Windows : http://www.google.com/chrome?hl=en ; click : About Google Chrome > " Google Chrome is up to date ( 0.2.149.29 )" ; click > Clear browsing data; click > Import Bookmarks and Settings ...

    Enjoy with this:thumb: ...

Now: I am happy with IE7. Chrome : I await ... Coming Soon!

    Have a good night.

I uninstalled my Chrome also, for awhile. I can't see the point of it when I have Firefox with all of the conveniences.

For me, Google Chrome is the slick and lean browser that the developers of formerly known Phoenix promised us.
Maybe we wish for some more features and less bugs, but I sure enjoy the speed!

    hello.

    to soccerfan,
yeah i have a similar problem. when the window is maximized, if i click close[x] its normalized and dont close. if i click [x] again, it refused to do anything. so I have to use task manager to deal with it.
I have come back to build 2164, this version is really light and elegant compared to all the 23xx builds so far and most of the 22xx builds. I suggest you revert to that version. I am sure your chrome will get a boost in speed and performance.

    to wilbertnl
the recent build is 23xx, while 0.2.152.1 is just build 2164. too many changes have be made to the latest builds. but the good news is that after having tried nearly all the 22xx builds last night, I found the version with best performance is still 2164. now i retreat to this build and refused to update any more within this week.
:argh: wilbertnl , in staying with build 2164, I think you are quite wise. if you think i flattered you in how lucky you are, go http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/ and pick up a chrome-win32.zip from any 23xx folder and have a try.(no installation required,so removing is eazy.)

    to PROROOTECT
thanks agent pro for the advice . I have done that as you suggested.
now build 2164 really makes me feel satisfied.

Is it easy to increase the performance of Google Chrome - with the resizer ?

    http://www.fotosizer.com/

Perhaps he should invent " Browser Resizer " ?

    - And import the Favorites - My Dear Favorites - in the original order ?
    - And lighten User data ( 74896 KB : Chrome + Chromium ) in Application Data ?

Click ADVANCED on your Brain ...:argh:
What are you talking about ?...

    Cheers and Regards, PROROOTECTseeker ( in-service )

Thanks for the confirmation Bensec. It appears the problem is fixed in the latest build (2355) but now it cannot remember its maximized position.
I would also like to go to the earlier build but could not locate build 2164
(the available builds are ...2161, 2162, 2166...). Are you sure about 2164?

    hi
    @soccerfan

    oh, sorry, soccerfan
i swtich my chrome's update to dev channel and it is stuck at build 2164 (constantly check for updates in [about] never return a result) and 2164 happened to be a build of good performance.
I suppose you can try build 2166, for its quite similar to b2164
the logs below showed that there arent much difference between 2166 and 2164.

    quoted from http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/?view=log

    :thumb: salute to agent Prrtt.

EDIT: I have tried 2166 myself its performance looks quite similar to 2164. no cpu spike on normal page.
it is the first build of version 0.2.153 =)
