Google Search over SSL has an oops.

It seems that the cached links are not as secure, hmmm!

Plus: There is a link to Laura Chappell’s Web site which also discusses this problem.

This is hardly a "problem". Like stated before by Google, SSL currently only supports search. Nothing else. Period. Cached results isn't part of the search SSL beta, it's a separate service, like images, and videos.

If Google choose to encrypt cached results as a service, which means sending the entire page to you encrypted, I'm sure they will let you know.

The point of the SSL search is to encrypt the search query so it cannot be intercepted between you and Google by 3rd parties, not to makes you anonymous to Google.
