Yes, I'm talking about the favicons, and I'm getting to see them more and more. Seems like Google is doing a test, but like I said, it's distracting to me. So I believe Google is making a mistake, but they probably think it's useful to people.

googles webdesign is different depending on its experiments, its rolled out randomly. you can get the experiment, next search after seconds it is back to normal. currently i dont get any small icon. sorry for inconvenience. and page turned from white (first search) to black (black should be default) i also get this different background also on my smartphone (all for firefox). i notice it but i dont care.

Has anyone managed to disable continuous scrolling for google searches?

For me, it's another Google crap change.. Even though settings has an entry to turn it off, the off button keeps being flipped back on.
I read changing the region where the search lock-down hasn't occurred is one possible solution, but the search results will be geared to that region. Another solution mentioned was Startpage and Whoogle, that get their search results from Google.

Google Search seemingly won’t penalize AI-generated articles as long as they’re still ‘useful’

Guys is it just me, or did Google once again bring the favicons back? And the weird thing is that sometimes I see them and when I refresh the same page, they are gone? I do get to see them when I search for Zoe Tauran and Binance, for example. Do you guys also get to see them?

Yeah, I don't like the icons much, along with other changes made for search. The ubo rules to clean things up shown here stopped working for me, but I'm not sure when this happened.

OK thanks, so it isn't just me. But what annoys me is that sometimes I see them, and sometimes I don't. As if they can't make up their mind? I must say that the favicons don't really annoy me that much anymore, but they should give people a choice. And those uBlock rules somehow mess up the Google page for me.
