Google Chrome to do away with unique IDs

    Commendable. That's one of the reasons I moved to Iron.

    Unfortunately the other is all the update processes that Google throws on a machine. I had 2 Google apps, Chrome and Earth. Between them I found 2 google update programs installed to start with windows, 2 more installed as scheduled jobs, another as a service, and a google update plugin in Firefox (?), plus remnants of a failed attempt at installing google bar.

    And when I uninstalled Chrome and Earth all of these updaters remained. I had go through the file system and root around the registry to clean them all out. A big WTF to Google for that.
