    Chromeblock worked for me, I just preferred Ghostery.

    I'm giving it a bit of a fling in Iron. It seems OK at the moment. It has a lot of filter options. I quite like the fact that the icon appears in the runbar. I'll keep you informed.

    EDIT: Eventually I uninstalled it, I can't find any real difference between using ABP & Flashblock, not for what I need anyway.

    It looks like it was taken out of the Webstore, either by Google or the Developer him/herself. Could mean something was wrong with it.

    That's all I know. Apart from some forum speculations on the ABP page.

    Looks pretty fishy, and could very well be the reason why they hat to take it down.

    That's what I was thinking. IMHO it was no more effective than ABP & FlashBlock anyway.

    Has anyone tried ScriptNo, the NoScript inspired extension?

    I'm pretty sure it won't be as good as NoScript, I was just wondering if anyone had 'test-piloted' it yet.

    It doesn't look so bad, I may give it a fling.

    I've never been a big fan of Chrome but after flipping through this thread and trying out some of these extensions I may have to reconsider. :thumb:

    Does anyone know what happened to 'Ultimate Chrome Flag'? It appears to have disappeared in the Chrome Store. There is only Josorek's Chrome Flags, which unfortunately is not working properly for me at the moment.

    Alright i found a very nice combination, well in my opinion that is. :)

    First the one many if not all of us know...

    * Adblock Plus for Google Chrome™ (Beta)1.1.4

    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb

    I use these lists:

    -EasyList by Michael, Ares2, Erunno, Khrin, MonztA (Default)
    -Recommended filters for Google Chrome. (Default)
    -http://malwaredomains.lanik.us/malwaredomains_full.txt
    -https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/easyprivacy.txt

    And two days ago i found this extension, which compliments Adblock Plus for Google Chrome™ (Beta)1.1.4 pretty well i think.

    * Better Pop Up Blocker

    Which pop-ups does it block over Chrome?

    Well let us say that you want to download something from mega upload, when you try that with the standard pop up blocker from chrome then you will most likely get 1 or more screens that pop up. These also do not get blocked by Adblock Plus for Google Chrome™ (Beta)1.1.4, but they will get blocked by Better up blocker.

    This is a quote from the Details tab of the extension...

    Here are two screenshot from the Better pop up blocker options page:
