And which Av? Does anybody know that?
It hasn't been made public yet as to what antivirus scanner they are using.
Sure Norton la... because Norton is best selling on the world....
Gmail virus scanning draws some user complaints
Just tested it.
They are using Kaspersky.
Tried to send a Win95/SK virus and got "Virus.Win9x.SK.8699" - no one else calls this infection like this except KAV
WoW!!!! Are you sure Where can I get that virus and how can I test it?
Oh.... KAV only know that virus send an attachment that contain that virus, then KAV detect that virus... GOOD!!!! BUDDY!!!!! Now we all know GMAIL is using KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS... HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
No, i'm only playing the fool to have one more post.
What difference does it make when you test it again? You have to have at least knownledge which viruses having which names for each vendor. And Kaspersky always starts virus names (fileinfectors) first with Virus.ThenSystem.ThenName.ThenVersion. Symantec for instance starts with W32/ etc.
BTW... Umur nama? Umur berapa?
erm... I just 21 yrs old. And about Virus, I'm not very expert la... at least u already told me a little about how a developer created virus name. Thanks buddy!!! If can, can u give me a site that tell me everything about virus?
