I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a Scanner Printer than does 2 sided printing and Ink has reasonable page production. Does anyone make one that will last more than one year ? Under $200.00, is that possible ? I have had Cannon, and Lexmark and the both seem to have a self destruct timer installed neither lasted more than 400 sheets of paper, or more than one year before something broke. I have an old Epson dot-matrix that is 18 years old that still works but new computers don't have the port to connect it to, still need a scanner though. Thanks rrrh1 (arch1)
I do 99+% B&W Laser Printing. I haven't printed anything in color for many months now. However, I would pick several Models with good user feedback reviews. Check the user feedback reviews at large resellers such as NewEgg or Amazon. Then go to injet/toner resellers such as meritline or supermediastore (There are many others.) and check to see if there are any "reasonably priced" after market (usually referred to as "compatible") ink cartridges.
