This has happened a few times lately. I go to post a reply to a thread and get a warning that I can't do that because I need to be logged in. I was logged in, but had to re-log in again. When I sign in I have the "Stay logged in" box checked so I don't know why I'm being logged out. Anyone else seeing something similar?
Maybe not Krusty. Here on firefox, when I hit ctrl + shift + delete I get logged out even if the active logins box is not selected.
well, that's the shortcut to delete browsing history. you just delete the session cookies with that combo, what did you expect to happen?
Had no idea what to expect, actually. I just wondered if Krusty might have some software running that periodically performs that same function.
If you're on Firefox 82 there could be a issue with staying logged in: https://techdows.com/2020/10/firefox-82-causes-printing-website-login-issues.html
Yes indeed, that does sound like a possible culprit. Thanks G_T_G. I'll change the about:config setting and see what happens. Code: privacy.purge_trackers.enabled = false Cheers!
I'm thinking < "privacy.purge_trackers.enabled" to false > sorted my head scratch. My webmail accounts were getting signed out. Thanks @Gandalf_The_Grey and @Krusty
The problem is also resolved on Edge with the latest update 86.0.622.56 according to this: At the bottom of this article: https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/...finally-getting-tab-and-history-sync-support/
OK, updated Edge to 86.0.622.56. Had to manually clear browsing history as passwords, specifically to Steam were showing as incorrect, forcing me to have to do the 2FA thing and submit multiple captchas, etc. This is so typical: Edge is working great, and then one day out of the blue, it messes with me in the most irritating way possible. At this point, it's still my secondary browser for a very good reason.
