This doesn't come as a surprise to me at all. Let's say it was written in the stars for a long time...

Anyway, best of luck to Micheal.

    regards.

Wishing Michael lots of luck in his new position and hope he'll be able to drop by in the forums.
Sounds as he's given Magnus a good injection too, btw.

I'm sorry to see that project end, but, I'm glad a lot of his work will be reused in Trojan Hunter. I'm sure Magnus' customers will benefit by all of Michael's work.

LWM, I didn't see this thread and started one in ten forward. You might want to delete that one.

Indeed, this could be a great asset to Trojan Hunter.

    Money always talks :(

Yes it was in the stars. GAV was becoming one great competitor
    in th AV market.
I am saddened to see it go.

GAV could have become one of the best antivirus programs ever. It's a shock for me to see it vanish so abruptly. But of course, the developer is just a human being, he must think at money too. Anyway, congratulations to him for what he has done.

    Hugggsss Blazey.

    Hugs for your house-cleaning !
    I understand your disappointment.
You loved GAV sooo much, you were soooo enthusiastic (like so many others !) about it!!!
    You were trying to help.
    You were giving ideas.
You donated to GAV (as many others did), and that was a real nice gesture from you!!
You love a real new, blazing user-interface sooo much !
    I understand it.
    I understand your frustration.

And then suddenly it is all gone...
All those dreams of yours didn't came true (well, partly they did).
But you, as others, were there from the beginning !
And your initial motivations were good; and that's what counts!

Michael decided to take another, new step in his life.
That's his decision, and we all can only wish him the very best and good luck on his new way in life!!!

For all who put their own energy and enthusiasm in his GAV poject, I understand that it might take them some days to come over it; for some it takes only a few days, for others it might take some more time. I understand it!!

You once loved it, Blaze; you loved the eye candy user-interface. I can only praise you for that: I know (as we all do) about your eye problems!!

There will come other programs and projects on your way.
And I'm sure that there will be some amongst them that you might love. Maybe not with that eye-candy much-loved-by-you interface, but nevertheless.

In the meantime I wish that, with the help of others, you might be able to solve your scripting and MS-Agent problem!!

Take it easy buddy, and thanks for your house-cleaning ;)

    Cheers from your friend, Jan.
