G-Data & MVPS Hosts does not work ??

    It looks like G-Data 2010 with MVPS Hosts does not work well.

    Sites such as download.com does not load completely, overall browsing is to slow...

    DNS Service turned off


    Anybody else run into this?

    what happens if you disable hosts file (rename it) does the browsing speed return to normal?

    have u tried disabling the webshield? or uninstalling the webshield component (if it can)

    If I restore hosts to original it works fine.

    I did not try turning off web shield.

    ye give that a shot, first try the webshield, see if its fixed, then try the regular guard and see if its fixed.
