Over the last 6 years I've received several fraud alerts from credit cards that my information had been used to purchase memberships on dating sites affiliated with Match. In every case, the fraudulent transaction was stopped and I was never charged, but I had to go through the inconvenience of having several credit cards replaced. I've never used an online dating service, so I don't know how they keep getting my information, but it's certainly increased my interest in cyber-security and privacy issues.
