I just redownloaded Free Superantispyware and then ran an on demand ESET SS5 scan with the scan showing the log in a new window. The scan kept hanging up (scan icon pausing-hour glass showing)for 2-6 seconds at a time-eventually went into a not responding mode. Could this be due to SAS? I seem to recall having issues previously when I used the separate window to show the scan log, but cannot say if I had SAS installed at the time. I also have MBAM Pro installed (no conflict with SS5). Any thoughts?
You don't give your OS but with XP SP3 I use SAS Pro AND MBAM Pro without issue - EXCEPT: I evolved (over a Yr ago) to having a Boot Freeze when BOTH Apps loaded at Start-up so I manually Start MBAM Pro after Boot. Haven't tried Both at Startup since, although Ver Upgrades may have corrected that. In Advanced Setup/Computer/Antivirus and Antispyware/Exclusions I was once advised to list C:\Program Files\MBAM as an Exclusion - I did. Try SuperAS as an Exclusion and see IF it helps.
