FreebiesJeebies popup

Thanks for ESET SS.
I am getting this popup up from time to time.
Running Windows 7 Pro with all the goodies. ISP is ATT.
Running K-Melion.
Wife's puter is running XP Pro with same ISP and ESET
She is using Internet Explorer and is not getting the popup.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

Question, what does the popup say? I'd also try IE temporarily just to be sure it's not browser related.

They are trying to sell me various products.
It covers almost the entire screen.
I have been on the K-Melion site and they don't
think it is a K-Melion problem.
It is an intermittiant popup of every 4 or 5 days.
Still annoying.

Sounds very much like some kind of malware, could you post a screenshot. Create and submit sysinspector log to customer support

Hi Cudni.
Today I was blessed with another FreebiesJeebies AD.
I captured the image with Fastcapture as a PDF file.
This site would not accept it.
I then took a photo of the image in JPG format. Again this site
would not accept it as it was over 1m.
I am at a loss as how to get it to you.

Created the sysinspector log but have no idea how to get it to ESET.

otherwise, consider not allowing scripting (java and java script) except for Trusted sites

I have resized the image down to 93k. Hope you can see it.
Let me know if it is not satisfactory and tell me what you want me to do to make it better.

 

I don't know enough about your browser to advise you how to control scripting. See if using latest adblockplus help the situation and prevents those popups
