Are there any conflicts with Online Armor Free's anti-logger and Zemana Free's anti-logger?

i think what he meant was that some free programs on purpose dont offer full service so people can buy full feature program.and yes some free programs are kind of criple alitle :) some other free like comodo are offering full feature program for free :thumb:

I started using it on all my PCs and I can say it's light and provides protection within browsers. Tested with AKLT, W7 64bit.

    Great additional protection!

That guy was using XP. As has been noted in this thread, the current beta version doesn't work in browsers when running Windows XP. It's not that it failed against that keylogger, it wasn't working at all.

So it works 'ramdomly' in XP. For me and other Widers user it doesn't work with Firefox and IE. I also noticed that it fails with Norton Identity Safe, but it works with notepad, Spotify and other programs.

Have some mercy, it is a beta with 0.7 as release version. So the developers expect at least a few incremements to publish before release candidate and final version are offered to general audience. As a side note compared to free version of keyscrambler it covers all browsers on xp. Also browsers are the threatgates and most likely points of attack so count your blessings.

Personally, I would proceed with caution with this free version.

I have a paid commercial license. I have seen Intelliguard "dialing-out" way to much. It dials-out at boot time and periodically while you are surfing. If you read the privacy policy on it, it is only supposed to dial-home when a "malware event" occurs and only for supposedly for updating of it's threats database. In every instance I have seen it connecting to home, it had nothing to do with a threat or malware. I have observed this behavior every since I installed Zemana anti-logger with Intelliguard enabled.

Given Zemana's origin - Turkey and the software's source which is speculated to be Israel Oops - thinking of Trusteer, I prefer to keep this software on a short leash. I have Intelliguard disabled.

Bottom line - nothing is "free" these days folks. Your paying for the software by having your web history being tracked and uploaded.

OA keeps asking me to approve of global hooks for various Internet-facing applications.

    Zemana must be protecting them.

Today Zemana AL updated to new version 1.0.1.945 and demanded a reboot once the upgrade was complete.

I did a reboot and all is well! :thumb:

The new version now works fine with my browsers in Windows XP 32 SP3. That bug is fixed, at least on my side.

It still doesn't work with Norton's password manager, Norton Identity Safe. I hope that they keep improving support for password managers, as they state in the changelog.

Zemana AL updated today to 1.1.1.32.

It seems to have made things worse. Locked up my desktop and I had to do a hard reset.

The desktop froze again after I launched a program. Killed AL and restarted explorer and then relaunched AL.

Now it seems to work well!

I would advise people to go to Zemana's web site and check out the comparison page between the free and paid versions.

One of the primary reasons to have software like this is to protect you on financial web sites. The free version lacks that protection. I assume that means the Anti-SLLogger protection is missing.

Also missing is all of Zemana's HIPS protection.

So you have basic keylogging protection in the free version. You probably already have that if your using a top tiered AV/IS.

    Bad news.

I just tried this on my new Windows 8 (x64). But after restarting the pc, I couldn't press any key at logon screen. No idea what could be the reason.
Had to go in safe mode and uninstall the app to be able to log into normal windows.

Still looking for a W8 compatible anti keylogger...

Did you uninstall KeyScambler before? Two apps that encrypt keystrokes are never compatible.
