    Mirror

    Code:
    ftp://HardDisk:manager8@ftp.vnudownloads.co.uk/hdm8_se-20070203-0000-en.exe
If you have a ftp client use

    HardDisk as the user
    manager8 as the password

    Try this:

    http://www.computeractive.co.uk/hdmanager8/index

then click on Download Now towards the bottom of the page.

P.S. I saw that password box thingy but just ignored it. Also, I used Opera to download, no problem.

Link actually works now on this end. I suspect they don't want the server to be mass rushed and made some provision for that, or else it was a mental block on the side of the ftp site itself. Whatever it was it's downloading now, but, what am i going to do with it since i'm already ahead in versions. I guess i'll just install it to another one of my machines.

Well I used the mirror to download and the Product Key/Serial Number emailed me from Paragon and everything worked well. It looks like the mirror site has issues now, though.

ye the link dont work atm.
    if i go to http://www.computeractive.co.uk/hdmanager8/index
and use the download there in opera the username is already filled in and the username is indeed harddisk
so i need to put in the username and password at off peaktimes.
if only i knew the username and password last night then i could be testing it right now.

I can register the Product Key/Serial at Paragon. But still I was unable to download the installation file from the FTP link. Is the offer over?

if anyone wants the .exe file use the mirror server right now!
    no password needed in opera.
so if you got opera and want the .exe file just click on the mirror link posted above

    works great for me.
the program doesnt even have any running processes running when not in use.
    that makes a change.
im gonna make a rescue cd and create an image tomorrow to test it out.
what is the difference between the special edition and the personal edition?
any less features in the special editon?

I still got no luck for the download link. I think they limit their bandwidth. :(

I experienced same problem (dialup here), kept getting error messages halfway through..
DL'd successfully from yet another link: http://www.mediafire.com/?1m2m1gmfzgk
Cannot vouch for site's authenticity (filename is identical).
Will post back after I check it out/install.

All i can offer at this point for you guys is to keep at it and don't give up. If i can finally get thru anyone can eventually.

As to the comparisons between Personal & Special, special suggests to me it might have some additional benefits but i not installed it just yet, but am going to and give it a good going over to see if it's up to par with their other releases or not.

Aforementioned link seems to be OK.
DL'd (finally), painless installation with registered key / ser#.
    Can confirm lodore's observation:
Would like to bump his query:
Now the BIG question. What do I do with it?
I use IFD for imaging....don't partition that much...another piece of software to learn how to use effectively...
The allure of good free stuff, can't resist.
At least no use of system resources, just some HD space.

I downloaded and saved the program yesterday and now, cannot find it. Would someone give me the first few letters of the file name so I can find it. I don't need the whole name but that would be OK.

I am going to do a ??.* search and hope to find it. It is somewhere on my hard drive.

    Thanks

I never have gotten an email back from vnunet.com or Paragon concerning the download issues. But I was fortunate enough to download a copy, so that was great. What are some tips for using this product? Any particular settings recommended? Info would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

The MD5 for "hdm8_se-20070203-0000-en.exe" is "19BA171B2241973ABBF12E98A8C27A6C" which i download from the mediafire link. Can anyone confirm if it is the same from the original download location.
