    Hi,

I'm looking for a good uninstaller which may even uninstall stubborn programs like Windows Live programs.

    Best Wishes,

Use their own uninstall programs to start with. Then use their removal programs.

Then what you want and need is...

    GeekUninstaller

    http://geekuninstaller.com/

This is what I use, and it works really well.

:D On one of my machines, I was using MSE beta and it hid itself from programs and features as well as every other uninstaller I tried, but GeekUinstaller found it, and removed all traces. Hopefully it works for you as well.

    Great minds think alike!

I've downloaded GeekUninstaller. Thankfully it's portable so no installation. :D

Don't use GeekUninstaller to uninstall WLM
Look how many entries concerning messenger it show
Uninstall all entries step by step = impossible install WLM in the future
I have the same issue years ago with other uninstaller and the only cure was format and install new windows
The best free uninstaller for 64bit system is not portable and is
Innovative Solution Advanced Uninstaller Pro (now for free)
that is compared revo pro with a monitoring features if you want

Geek Uninstaller make a decent job (not good only decent) in case detect the correct entry, but if it detecd multiple entry (WLM, Driver AMD. NVIDIA ..) is a first step to format, so in the case of multiple entries better use builtin uninstaller

Awesome! I know you had issues with the standard uninstaller as well as other 3rd party uninstallers, so I'm glad this worked!

If you are satisfied that is all that matters but I will also second Advanced Uninstaller pro, it has a installation monitor feature that tracks the program during installation, so you can uninstall it completely later. Geekuninstaller does not have this feature.

Thanks for the recommendation. It is a robust product containing many tools like duplicate file finder. Geek Uninstaller is very specific to it's task and is also portable.
