Free equivilant to camstudio for linux? anything?

    Is their like an equivalent to CamStudio that is free for Linux?

    I'm using Linux Mint at the moment!

    Record My Desktop, its in the repos.

    Thank you for the suggestion! but IMO is def NOT comparable to CamStudio. the second I run record my desktop stuff starts freezing, ha and I have 8GB Ram and a 1GB Radeon Graffix card, also it wont let me save the vids as AVI? :thumbd: I think I will stick to Windows for these tasks.


    But here is a quick ref for whoever wants to try it.

    Works fine here, even on my 2GB netbook, make sure latest video drivers are installed. With ATI, use Unity 2D desktop.
