Does anyone please know if there is a good free image backing up utility?

I cannot use Driveimage XML as I am running Vista which is preinstalled on my HP Notebook. And to use Driveimage XML I need an original XP CD to create a BartPE bootCd with the Driveimage XML extension,

Any other free alternative for a reliable and free way to make mirror images of the hard drive and then restore if needed?

    Thank you.

Clonezilla is another one that works fine with Vista (and Linux):

    http://clonezilla.org/

I have used it for over a year with Vista, XP and Linux. No issues.

I installed Macrium Reflect Free last night and did an image this morning.
I had a few problems with Bart PE and the rescue cd.
But I do like the speed of Macrium and the free features are enough for me. It does burn to cd with no problem.

Does anyone know of a bootCD I can download that already has DriveImage XML on it?

You would think other pre-created boot rescue CD's made by certain companies and people would also include DriveImage XLM.

    Are there any?

    Thanks
