Yeah you're right of course about it being vB before, but it seems the people asking would like to see a Wilders ID, as other www's have their own.

It might look like this for eg,

Err, no. If someone wants to make a Wilders Security Forum favicon... I'd not be against it. But, it would have to have the same color scheme... I like the various blues we use here. And, it'd have to either be: WS or WSF as the letters involved.

Think about a logo simliar to the xF one, same colors, but, maybe with just the WS or a WSF letter set. That would be nice.

@LWM, Maybe you're afraid that a new favicon wouldn't look as nice as the current xF one. you sucha conservative :D
The following favicons are some carefully-designed ones. I've designed them using PS cs5. various styles just in case you're picky about such things.
consider them as suggestions :) you don't actually have to do anything if you don't like to, right? ;)

Seems I'd missed these two (no I didn't really miss them, cuz the uploader wouldn't let me attach more than 5 items at once ) :)

On vB we had a Post Reply button @ the top of the page as well as the bottom. Is it possible to do this here also ?

    I agree.

Might be dumb question, but why didn't the old favicon continue with the update of new forum software.?

Our old favicon was the one included in the vBulletin forum package.

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/vb_favicon.ico

When we installed XenForo, it came with its own branded favicon.

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/xf_favicon.ico

This is the first time we've ever used a favicon not provided by the forum software install. Well, there is the Pixel favicon, which is in place just during our brief maintenance downtimes. But, I don't think that really counts:

Tip for fixing: If you have NoScript, go to Options->Advanced->HTTPS->Behavior and then add .wilderssecurity.com to the list under "Force the following sites to use secure (HTTPS) connections."

What is the advantage in logging in here using HTTPS?

    From the article:
I don't understand how we are susceptible to phishing while logged into
    Wilders.
Well, if this is so important, why isn't HTTPS turned on by default at Wilders? I can log in from the HTTP URL.

Wilders is using self-signed certificate. If https was enabled by default a lot of people wouldn't know how to install certificate and much more would complain about site not being safe (since browser would tell them so).

I've noticed this before, so it's an ongoing issue !

The last posts in each of those threads were made at those exact times (at the time you posted this). The only issue I see in your image is the sort method being used when displaying the results. But, the times are correct.

Of the three threads you show, only the top one, "Question on licensing for multiple computers" has had a new reply at the time I am now replying here. Prior to that reply, it's last post was by moxxey 1:03am. That post is still there and it still shows 1:03am in the server's timezone. (The server's timezone is what is shown when you are logged out since there is no way to know where you are located when not signed into an account.)

The other three, at this moment, still show those same last post times. Jim1cor13 did make a reply Yesterday, May31, at 11:47pm in AX64 thread. mirimir's 3:17am reply is in the 128-bit thread. And, clubhouse1 does have that 3:12am reply in the Revoked certs thread.

As I said at the top, I can't explain the sort order you are seeing. I'm not up on just what can be selected for sort result posting. When I click Recent Posts I get the results sorted by time, both logged in and logged out.

Sort method would be the better description as to what i'm seeing. As i showed there are 2 x 3AM + posts inbetween the 2 earlier ones.

It sounds like @ least me anyway is stuck with it then ! Not the biggest deal on the planet, but it would be good if it could be sorted, @ some point.

Unfortunately, unless I can recreate it, I can not figure it out. It doesn't happen for me. No matter which browser I use. But, I don't tighten security to the levels some people do. I don't use any security software and don't block Javascript or anything else for that matter.
