Well, at least do you implemented a way FFirewall gui could show an alert if its service is killed or something ?

    1. When service/driver is not available:
    - the system tray icon will be grayed out;
    - Options: Driver will show an error message.

    2. You can turn on the Options: "Stop traffic when Fort Firewall is not running" flag to block Internet on service kill.

    Hi @tnodir

do you think could be allowed a program to connect only to a range if ips (without excluding all the others ip ) ?
    thanks

Let me show why it doesn't have sense to protect against admin.

You can uninstall TinyWall without entering the password:
    • Set password, click on "Lock" menu item
    • Close TinyWall's UI part/controller, so only service is running
    • Run Installer and choose a Remove option
    • Wait for the "Did you initiate ...?" dialog
    • Kill the service and immediately click on "Yes" button of "Did you initiate ...?" dialog
    • TinyWall is uninstalled
Other method to uninstall without entering the password:
    • Set password, click on "Lock" menu item
    • Close TinyWall's UI part/controller, so only service is running
    • Suspend TinyWall's service process in System Informer
    • Close "C:\ProgramData\TinyWall\*" files of TinyWall's service process in System Informer
    • Remove "C:\ProgramData\TinyWall\*" files
    • Kill the TinyWall's service process (it'll auto-restart)
    • Run Installer and remove it
    • TinyWall is uninstalled

Well, that's interesting for general information. I am talking about killing a process directly from task manager though. I guess a glitch of any software or malware killing process may achieve that.

I'm not sure that service's Start & Pause buttons should be disabled by default...

    Fort Firewall v3.7.7
    • UI: Auto-restart service on termination.
    • UI: Options: Add "Disable Service controls" flag.
    • UI: Options: Add "Check password on Uninstall" flag.

Though I've added the "Disable Service controls" flag, but I'm going to remove it.
So Stop/Pause control buttons will be always enabled for service.
