When I move a line from right to left, two inactive lines appear on the right. What is it?
1.png Does this mean a permitted period of 20:00-24:00? Too coarse 1 hour, preferably 5-10 minutes.
    2.png
Each time you open a window, fortfirewall.exe tries to access the Internet, even if the marks on the left untick. So it should be? How to completely disable the check for updates? Maybe add to the dropdown menu "Never"?
    What is TAS-IX Addresses?
    ScreenShot_342.png
    Why internet for curl.exe?

    Placeholder text as examples.
Yes. OK, let me improve it.
It tries to resolve addresses from the "Blocked" tab -> "Show host names".
It used to download from http(s). Specifically to check updates.
TAS-IX is a local national network in Uzbekistan.
I use it to mark it's addresses as local network and to exclude them from filtering.
It's an application group from "Applications" tab.
So, you can easily enable/disable app groups from tray context menu.

    @tnodir
Thanks for the clear and precise answer!
Now you can manually add an application to allowed or blocked only via copy-paste paths. Can I add a button to specify the path? The path will be added to the active field Block or Allow.

When using Fort, can the Windows Firewall be in any state, on or off?
Rules and settings are in the file FortFirewall.conf?
Under what conditions is a FortFirewall.conf.backup created?

You can use Fort with any other firewalls or standalone.
But you've to allow the path on all firewalls.
    Yes, and in the FortFirewall.ini
conf - for seldom and big changes.
Backup file is creating always before conf.

Perhaps you can contact Softpedia or some other site to make a review.
