Hardly change their browser engine just because of fonts.

I just installed Vivaldi and have imported my bookmarks from Opera 12. I see that my passwords have been imported as well but I cannot figure out how to apply a saved password to log into a site. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

I'm using an older version, but there doesn't seem to be a way to make it auto-fill data, perhaps you can make a thread about this on the Vivaldi forum. Seems like the developers totally missed this.

Thanks for your reply (the only one by the way). I figured out that you need to start manually imputing the password etc and then the balance auto fills. The problem is that once you input log in info its automatically stored and the next time you go to that log in page the info is filled and the page opens. I do not like this as some sites I do not want to auto log in to (banking site for example). I have, because of this, uninstalled Vivaldi and am stuck using a combo of Opera 12 and Firefox (for those pages - many - that will not load in O12). PITA to be sure but the best I can come up with so far. Too bad the Opera developers subscribe to the philosophy of "If its not broken, break it", it was an excellent browser but now just one of the herd.

Yes, it's best to report this, because we do indeed need more control over auto-fill in Vivaldi. It can even be a security risk. I'm also using a combo of Firefox, Opera 12 and Vivaldi. I use Firefox for 90% of all sites.
