    Hi @mirimir

It wasn't about the CA update. It was about the following:

"With the introduction of new plans, we have changed how the device limit is being counted. Now, instead of counting the number of active connections, our Authentication server will check for the number of devices that are currently Logged into the IVPN app".

What you see above was IVPN's response to an email/ticket that I sent them explaining that I couldn't use IVPN on any of my devices - be they Android or Windows 10. The point is that IVPN had not informed me of this by email or by any other means. Instead, they were relying on some customers discovering this by either seeing it on the likes of Reddit or by visiting the IVPN blog. Apparently, I didn't qualify for being informed by email but the person with whom I communicated was unable to explain why this was the case. A bit ridiculous in my view having been with them for ten months. My current IVPN account expires on 27 September this year. And it's unlikely to be renewed.

So, the bottom line is that I was still working on the basis of active connections but the rules had changed. But, they assumed that I was telepathic! The whole incident could have so easily been avoided. I ended up getting into a panic and the whole issue took about six hours and numerous emails to resolve. Ironically, I was informed by email about the CA update. I'm very unhappy about paying approx. £100 per year for the pleasure of this!

But, this company doesn't appear to exist!

Here's the link that I tried to follow having searched for Insorg:

    https://insorg.org/en/

insorg offers self-configurable multi hop vpn up to 5 hops. but they don't offer vpn app for windows and android. that's why i didn't mention it to you.

    Hi @mirimir

Did you get a chance to read my reply in post #26 above? I would value your feedback - particularly as you seem to know the company IVPN quite well. You say above that "I don't even pay them, given that I have a lifetime account from many years ago". That's intriguing.

Seconded. I haven't been on Wilders much the last few years and I noticed that there isn't much in the privacy sections these days compared to a few years ago. Mirimir was the main mover here and a vast repository of knowledge and advice.
