Hi, Why is wsa firewall not registered in security center? When the option 'show webroot in security center' is checked, security center only shows webroot in 'virus protection' but not in 'firewall'. Only windows firewall is shown there. Also is wsa compatible with other firewall and antivirus? Best Regards, ams963
WSA is designed to be compatible with other Security software, in as much as it is possible and complementary. Yes, the firewall doesn't show in Security Center, I believe because it's meant more as an enhancer to Windows or other FW, rather than a fully blown FW in itself afaik. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1985110&postcount=2
It does have its own firewall functionality but because it is designed to be compatible (and partially use the Windows firewall), if we register into the security center, Windows disables the Windows firewall and any third party firewalls assume they'll be incompatible, when that is indeed not the case
