I run Windows XP SP2 and Norton Internet Security. I have an update account with Spywareblaster. Most days my firewall allows sbautoupdate.exe to access the internet in order to download updates with no problem. However, intermittently I get a Program Control warning popup that tells me that sbautoupdate.exe is attempting to connect to the internet, and suggests I should "always disallow" this from happening. Every time this happens I change the selection to "always allow" the connection and click OK. But a few seconds later the box pops up again and I have to repeat the entire process. This can happen maybe 12 to 15 times before the box finally goes away.
Can you help me to solve this frustrating problem, please?

:) Perhaps it would be best if you "disabled" the firewall "component" of
Norton Internet Security; then install a good & FREE firewall like
Zone Alarm, Kerio 2.1.5, or Sygate, though the latter has a recent
announcement from Symantec that it will not be "supported" in the
    near future !?

    Hi Pineman100

Do you have any more details from the pop-up?

You could try deleting your current rule for sbautoupdate.exe and recreate it to see if that resolves the issue.

    Regards,
