This is about a year old but I've not seen it before - hopefully interesting

Most of personal firewalls allow shortcuts or interface for controlling traffic. It's simple to bypass these firewalls by a multithreaded program and sending keys or by contolling mouse.

This is a similar threat with shattering attacks, but different method and impact.

Well, Jetico stops it as does Processguard and I'll bet antihook and most other Hips will catch it too!

I hadn't seen this test before, but have done lots of others against my ZA Free which passes almost every one. I tried to run all the tests just to see what might happen, but i was saved from any possible attempt/threats in this case, as i disabled VBscript a long time ago, so all the tests failed to run.

I re enabled VBscript but still nothing happened. Maybe it needs a reboot, or some of the other scripting needs enabling again ? I may try again at some point though. I would like to think that Winsonar and some of my other Apps would help in preventing the exploits, as they have in the past. Along with my hardening too.

    Thanks for posting.
