    Anybody familiar with Firestarte firewall?

I do not understand how to setup inbound and outbound rules.

Inbound mean to control connection that come from the intnernet to my PC and outbound mean connection that want to go from my PC to the intnerent, right?

    (sorry for bad English)

If you mean the Linux firewall Firestarter, inbound would mean server rights for your program and generally unless specifically needed, you should never give any program that right, only P2P clients need it and IM with webcam, for outbound, you only give net access rights to the programs in your PC.
