Has anyone used the FireShot add-on for Firefox? If so what are your experiences?

Just did so I only have a first impression, which is it looks like a great tool. I usually use FastStone Capture, but FireShot may be easier when working in the browser. Thanks for the link.

OK, tell me what you think after you've given it a good test drive. :thumb:

It works fine in the browser for capturing either the full page or the visible page. After you've got the main image you can crop it, add text, etc. It's pretty cool, but it's all about working in the browser. If you need to grab screenshots in other programs you still need a standalone tool.

I recently discovered that printing is disabled in the free version of FireShot. If you try to print it will offer to switch into a trial of the Pro version.

I decided to uninstall it and go back to FastStone Capture v5.3
