    Thanks Ronjor. I use FireFTP so this is good to know. It looks like it's only a problem if you download from a malicious FTP server though, so as far as I can see, as long as you're only using FireFTP to manage a website hosted on a reputable hosting company you should be alright. Is that a fair appraisal?

    The flaw is in the extension for Firefox only as far as I can tell.
