    Something weird is going on.

    Firefox 48 Beta 10 apparently has been released via the Free Download button: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#beta.

    The Download Firefox Beta in your language page still downloads 48.0b07.exe's 32-bit & 64-bit versions.

    I updated via the Internal Updater (53.8 MB), and this is what it showed after installation:

    According to the above, I'm still on the Beta update channel, yet the version is shown as 48.0, not 48.0 Beta 10.

    Went to Tools > Options > Advanced > Update tab > Show Update History button:

    That Firefox 48.0 version and its number corresponds to a Release Candidate version, instead of Beta 10, according to Firefox's FTP Pub Candidates list.

    My advice: stay away from downloading any Beta versions for now!
