As it has amozon.com and eba.com and i want to remove those (if possilble) and put in amazon.co.uk and ebay.co.uk.

I also want to put one in for play.com if possble.

But how do i do it

    Thanks for your help

    Go to Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/searchplugins.

There are two files for each entry in the search box, e.g yahoo.gif and yahoo.src.

Delete BOTH of the entries you don't want, i.e the .gif and the .src for yahoo and whoever else you don't want.

As to adding the others you want, just click on Add Engines and see if they are available... for example I just have google.uk so not sure about the ones you want.

I have done what you said and deleated both the entries from my mozilla folder in Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/searchplugins.

But they are not gone from the list in the top right.

Any more suggestions on how to get rid of them

Go to program files, Mozilla Firefox, search plugins, and delete the search plugin you don't want.

Close Firefox before you do this. Delete the plugin and the icon for the plugin.
