Not sure about Seamonkey other then it is based on\similar to FF. It is a standalone browser with it`s own engin. Opera, while being a decent Browser, IMO, is what some refer to as a "Browser wrap". It uses IE`s already installed engin. I have it installed on my break-me PC. It dose seem to be one of the faster Browsers.

Opera uses it's own Presto engine, IE uses Trident.

    Hi ThunderZ, ;)

I love opera & FF too. And yes, opera is pretty fast. More than FF. At least on my pc.

Like i mentioned earlier. Sometimes when i have both open...everything slows
    down somewhat occasionally.

Aahhhh....i just would luv to have ONE browser. And not always having to decide which one I want to use This time, lol !
A browser with OPERA & FF COMBINED would be nice !!! :D

IE, IE 7 Beta, Avant, Opera, K-Meleon, Firefox in various combinations on several different computers. Why ? because i like playing with different toys at different times. I' ve never noticed any conflict between them.

Ehm....can someone be so kind and link me to where one can view some
screenshots of Seamonkey, if available ??

I looked but cannot find a preview of it.
I'd like to see what it looks like before I download.

And I'm still not sure if I should uninstall FF. :doubt:
    I know, dumb Q. ...but I have to be SURE !! :D

    Nat :)

SeaMonkey is configured to work well right out of the box, the only thing I found wrong was that by default the good interface is not used.

It is actually very stable and fast (faster than Firefox in my opinion) and is updated just as regularly as Firefox and Thunderbird. SeaMonkey uses the same "Gecko" rendering engine as Firefox, and it is perfectly possible to install SeaMonkey alongside Firefox and Opera and IE on the same computer.

I am posting some screenshots now so you can see how SeaMonkey is. The first screenshot (below) shows SeaMonkey with the default interface. I recommend you change to the 'Modern' Theme (see instructions to change themes below).

i think its a personal choice.

people who liked teh mozilla suite for example, would want to switch to seamonkey.
