Firefox JS sandbox

  1. There's a lot of talk about Chrome's and IE's renderer and plugin sandboxes, not so much about Firefox's Javascript sandbox.

    How good is it vs. known JS exploits, without extensions such as Greasemonkey or Noscript? And how does it compare to other open source JS implementations, like Webkit or Chrome's V8?

    This is just for extensions, it's the same mechanism that Chrome uses for its extensions, where they run eval in a separate environment.

    edit: This article is very unclear. Not sure what it's discussing, but what it's showing is Chrome's 2.0 sandbox for extensions.
