So, which one, or combination of sorts, to keep all the web bugs, tracker out.

Ghostery is an industry initiative, the equivalent of leaving Dracula in charge of the blood bank. When properly configured, a combo of ABP, NoScript and RequestPolicy will do the job.

A few weeks back I did some testing (user tlu also experienced the same behavior), and whenever we need to allow a third-party request in RequestPolicy, even if having ABP, either Do Not Track Plus or Ghostery would still block a few connections. Of course, the same that happens with RequestPolicy would apply to NoScript.

I prefer Do Not Track Plus... Just a preference. :)

So, my pick would be ABP, RequestPolicy, (and/or no) NoScript and Do Not Track Plus.

I also tried Privacy Choice extension, but it makes Firefox (Nightly builds) load really slowly. :ouch:

Aren't NoScript and RequestPolicy kind of redundant? It is definitely painful to use them both. With both of them you would have to whilelist every site twice. :doubt:
