Not here, i use "consent blocker" and this is because of google/youtube.
    Consent Blocker

to keep special cookies, you need special extensions, i use CAD and CookieBro. CAD allows cookies for eg spiegel . de and CookieBro deletes all except one from spiegel (consentUUID) because of consent which is NOT to handle. the issue behind is that firefox starts video when i clicked on spiegel cookie consent, if page is reloaded cookie consent is already set and firefox rule to block audio/video works again. thats pity because firefox dont care which content is clicked, click means for firefox: show video and not cookie consent, it cannot determine which one is clicked. glad i dont open spiegel not that much.

for the notice - "i dont care about cookies" (extension) is disabled here. (nor used in ublock)
consent notices are not shown in most cases. it seems that this extension has more benefit that the other one.

I don't understand the purpose since you can block the consent and consent to other cookies you want.

    Thank you, Brummelchen.
For quite some time, I've been franticly battling cookie consent dialogues, rejecting 'legitimate interest' and other annoyances, until I decided life just was too short.
I suppose I noticed defkev's Consent Blocker for Firefox, but its relatively small user share and relatively few reviews, compared to I don't care about cookies, didn't give me the confidence to use it in Firefox.
Consent Blocker may be a great addon, but I would need more convincing, preferably a few nice reviews, in addition to those at the addons page.

eehhh, my recommendation dont count? :p

i do not care about user base. i had "i dont care about cookies" as extension, also ublock list -> which is treated as a cosmetic filter and in case i needed to turn it off any other ads reappeared on some pages. not acceptable. it works like charm and in case of blocking consent dialogs where needed you can set an exception. it works not that intrusive like "i dont care...", i read too much complaints where pages were not shown because of this. the problem behind is that ad blockers block parts of consent content and consent extension do not work properly. i never had that with "consent blocker". for some pages we were able to create ublock filtering rules.

    Thanks, Brummelchen.
I read about issues with 'I don't care about cookies' as a filter list in uBlock Origin or Adblock Plus. I read that the extension is better. I haven't had any issues with the combination of Adblock Plus and the 'I don't care about cookies' addon. No cookie consent dialogues partly blocked by Adblock Plus and my chosen filter lists and my custom filters, and no issues with the addition of the 'I don't care about cookies' addon.
And before you're going to say uBlock Origin is so much better than Adblock Plus ;), the latter works perfectly for me, with acceptable ads disabled and the right filter lists, and I like its ease of use.

the extension is not only a list - its the same list you can enter in ad blocker, the extension has also a special javascript to treat consent dialogs not only to block them.

Ive used I Dont Care About Cookies as extension alongside UblockO for over 4 years and never had one problem... no broken pages, no dialogues... install and forget has been my experience.

The extension has not been updated for 2 years.
In my opinion, it is not advisable to use it.
You can use a list in UBO that is updated more frequently.
