    Yes, the link for switching to the classic view has been recently removed:

    the first thing i used to do every time i visited "addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/" was switch to "classic desktop view", sad to see it's gone for good.

    Why do Mozilla love to alienate the people that matter most to them? :(

    i tried to search like the classic desktop - mozilla solved the most annoying issues with the new page, so the classic view is futile at least for me. for extensions themselves the information page is just in another order but they are present.

    does it look like this?

    * * 3p-frame block

    if yes, there is another rule which is overriding that one. search your settings.

    introducing the "other" search bar.

    while using this one in chromium
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/searchbar/fjefgkhmchopegjeicnblodnidbammed
    i tried to convert it for firefox which failed anytime.

    then i found another one
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/selection-search/gipnlpdeieaidmmeaichnddnmjmcakoe

    and guess what - its available for firefox too
    https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/selection-search-ff/ (same author)

    if offers a button to open the search bar with your own search engines (fully customizable), and it popups when marking text (fully customizable/css).
    no hidden tracing, no google-analytics, no spying.

    I've been using FPI for like a year now, only trouble I have is with sites like Disqus that hook into other sites.

    Aside from that, 10/10 and I wish Chromium picked up on it.
