Hi, Has anyone experienced & found a work around/fix for: "The browser can't find the server at ..." error message this happens occasionally to frequent for me now. Take Care Rico
Hi Mata7, I used live chat, to discuss the problem at Mozilla, they suggested disabling extensions to determine if this is the cause. Do u have Ad Block Plus? I'll start my trial by disabling it Take Care Rico Note I could not replicate the problem in FF3's 'safe mode', so it's most likely an 'add on'
hi Rico i dont use adblock but i do use a few extensions like flashblock, no script, Mouse Gestures, RefControl, CokieSafe and WOT, i get the "The browser can't find the server at" error like 2 times at day, i will try to disable some extensions and see how goes
I'm using FF 3.0.1, with AdBlock+, NoScript, IE Tab, FireBug, SQLite Manager, Web Developer, ColorZilla and have no problems whatsoever. Take a look at Tools > Options > Privacy tab and check Accept third-party cookies and select Keep until "I Close Firefox" to see if that cures the problem. Some Web sites might not display at all if the browser rejects these cookies.
Hi Guys, I was using 'Adblock Plus' & filterset.g, I've removed filterset.g & the problem does not appear to be happening. Take Care Rico
Rico, never thought about filterset.g and yes, there has been problems with it! Here it is, right from the horse's mouth: Do I need to install Filterset.G Updater?
Hi JrViejo, That's the same article that led me to uninstall filterset.g! Thanks for linking it here. Take Care Rico
