I will miss it anyway

The Mozilla Project has announced that, following more than two years of support, the 3.6.x branch of its open source Firefox web browser will reach its end of life on Tuesday 24 April. This means that, from that date onwards, no new updates, including security updates and critical fixes, will be released for Firefox 3.6.x. Mozilla Release Manager Alex Keybl says that "barring any major stability or security issues found over the next few weeks", version 3.6.28 from earlier this month will be the final 3.6.x release of Firefox.

Pale Moon will still be supporting the 3.6.x branch, should users wish to stay with 3.6 :

A question asked regularly these days is:
"With Firefox 3.6.x being abandoned in April, will Pale Moon continue to provide updates and support for its 3.6 branch?" ...
The answer is: Yes.
Reasoning:
The Firefox 3.6.x code base is one that has literally seen the efforts of many people put forth leading to an ultimately stable browser with a not-too-large footprint.
Drawing on proper GDI rendering, it doesn't rely too heavily on having a finely tuned combination of hardware and is therefore robust in the rendering department. It is therefore also much more compatible for advanced use in virtual environments, emulators, and similar use cases than any later version.
