    Did you enable the 'don't load inactive tabs' feature in Firefox? It's really essential IMO, and does the same thing the earlier BarTab extension used to do. I have about 30 tabs (in 3 different groups) and startup is much faster than either Chrome or IE9/10, since the other browsers have to load all the tabs.

    I installed FF15 beta 2 on my laptop and removed FF14, and I can tell you that speed surfing and memory consumption are not improved. :thumbd:

    Each time, it's hanging up during 1-2 sec before displaying a web page.

    I had less troubles with FF14. ;)

    Your computer is broke, FF15 opens everything instantly and I've tested it on many computers

    The option "Don´t load tabs until selected" is enabled, but it doesn´t make any difference in the startup, in my case.

    In fact, it seems that this option isn´t working in any case. Besides, in the FF version I use, not an English one, is the only option that isn´t translated in the menus.

    Are you joking ? :cautious:

    My laptop is working fast, I only have light programs, but please, don't blame my laptop !

    FF15 is working fast for you, not for me ! FF14 is faster than FF15.

    Sometime around August 28th. The "RapidRelease" plan calls for "major" updates roughly every 6 weeks.

    Thanks. I knew of the rapid release cycles but could not remember when it will drop. I will just wait it out, I have not had any problems on 14.

    Cheers.

    @berryracer,

    b5 may have been pulled. Only b4 is available at the beta site -http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/- and the link you posted doesn't work, at least for me.

    I also get random freezes and crashes in Firefox 14, It seems to happen almost every time it uses Flash player, or just clicking on some random site, Most annoying version of firefox I have ever used, Im glad to hear im not alone, because I was starting to think I may have some sort of virus or something because of it.
