Moz 13.0 is scheduled through normal release channels on Tuesday. Everything else downloaded and installed should be assumed as Beta software.

I agree, I'm quite happy to wait for the normal release upgrades. Otherwise you can quite often end up with betas.

Yep, what difference does a day or two make anyhow? :)

    Yeah, where's the fire? :D

I'd rather wait a couple of days than end up with something buggy.

Removed Off Topic Posts. Subject is Firefox 13; let's keep it that way. Thanks.

I used to regularly use SeaMonkey betas, but I tend to lose extensions every time it upgrades now, so I just wait for the official release. This rapid release cycle isn't necessarily a good thing if you ask me, & is affecting SeaMonkey quite detrimentally these days.

It's been around since 2004 and has been given the importance it deserves.

How important can it be? (-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PendtPG-j2U&feature=g-all-u-)

The "new button" has nothing to do with the bug(s).

The Register posted that FF 13.0 was available yet they issued a retraction, in typically effervescent Register style:
    That would be, later today.

As always, I update 2 or 3 days after Mozilla releases the final. If I really want to try the "new real thing", I try it in a sandbox but not on my real system.

Issues with smooth scrolling noted. For those that do not like drastic cosmetic changes. I do not, personally. At the risk of repetition, the Beta release notes are now the Mozilla 13.0 Final release notes.

Thanks. Weird. Its working via the auto-updater on one of my machines but not the other. When I go to Help>About Firefox it appears to check the version but then says its up to date. I am currently on Version 12.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Firefox 13: Foxit Reader (Latest Version) is having an issue with some web pages. It generates an annoying error repeatedly. I am not sure if this only affects Windows XP users. On the Foxit Forum, Foxit said to roll back to an earlier version that works until they fix the issue.

Edit: I reverted back to Version 5.1.x and this error disappeared and the error opening my Hotmail E-Mails is no longer present. When I downloaded 5.1.x there was no option to download 5.3.x. I assume that Foxit pulled 5.3.x because of problems with it.

Still no auto updater working. Did a fresh uninstall reinstall, strange things happening.

Im getting a certificate error when trying to go to the Mozilla Add ons page. Also, my adblock plus subscription (any of them really) are all failing to download.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Did you also delete the profile and get rid of leftover files? Something seems like it's corrupted there.

Definitely. Still does the same thing. Never had this problem before with any other version of Firefox, strange. Its a Windows 7 box. I have another Windows 7 machine right next to it running Firefox with no issues at all.

I had an odd experience with Flagfox on my (Vista) notebook. The icon had disappeared from the extensions manager & when I tried to uninstall Flagfox (for a clean install) it froze Firefox. I shut Fx down with Task Manger, reinstalled Flagfox & everything was fine. My other Vista machine has no problems (AFAIK) & both Waterfox & Firefox 13 seem to be working perfectly on my 64 bit Win 7 PC. Maybe it's the ("Houston, we have a problem ...") 13 thing. (Touch wood)
