Anyone here using one of those programs? There were members in the past who used them. I'm just only curious!
At the above mentioned sites for the Update Histories it is mentioned that there were newer versions released. Version 10.16 for FinePrint and version 7.16 for pdfFactory (Pro) on February 15, 2020. That's true. Those versions were indeed released. But that date (February 15, 2020) is not true. The digital signed dates are clearly showing February 19, 2020. The site is simply not telling the truth. (screenshots could be given to prove it, I have them, but who cares ... ough ... )

Sometimes they suddenly change the update info on their website. It has happened again. But more important (I posted previously about): they upload a newer version without changing the version number. I have seen it happening several times and it has happened again. (Yes, I had contact with them about it some time ago). Just look at the date in the Release Notes (the changelog). Take for example pdfFactory Pro. The Release Notes say the date for Version 7.21 is 20 March 2020. Fine. It was. But now download the installer pdf721pro.exe Look at the date on which it was digital signed. At the moment it says it is 23 March 2020. You want proof? Screenshot attached from Dutch Windows. Is this serious? No. But users should be aware of it! And, eh, I myself can't stand it when contradicting info is giving; but, hey, that's me. Have I upgraded: yes.

I can't help it; it is what it is.
In the meanwhile, some more versions later. A bit more info: They are now at the .34 versions. I had already the .31 versions. As you can see in the Release Notes (the History) the .32 and .33 versions seem to have been "skipped"; that's OK. Hm, I think that there is something wrong with regard to FinePrint. It looks like their download site is still giving version 10.42 : fp1042.exe The one for pdfFactory Pro seems to be OK. Not yet sure what is happening ...
