file compression question

    hi all

    i have some files i whish to compress so that i can get them on to my 240mb key drive but all of the zip tools iv tryed so far cant seem to compress them small enough to fit and i was wondreing if anyone knows of a compression tools that can do the job

    are there any god like compression tools that have really hight compression ratios somthing on the order of 50% mabe ?

    You can always try 7zip.

    Let us know if it can do the job. ;)

    hi

    question how do i configuer 7zip so that i can aceave its advertised compression ratio becaue last time i tryed it 7zip did no better that any other zip tool

    its actualy a game disk xbeyond the frontier

    see my bros cd drive wont read the disk coz its broken so im trying to arcive the disk to the key drive so he can install it from the hd rarther than the cd

    Most of the large files on the game CD are probably in a compressed state (as with most games).
