I'm guessing Firefox is going to win this poll again.

My favourite on Linux (Ubuntu) is Firefox. On Windows and Android it is Maxthon.

It's still Opera 12 even though it performs quite badly on some sites like Facebook and Twitter. So my secondary browser is Firefox 34. What I hate about FF, is that I have to install a couple of extensions for basic functionality. Of course IE 11, Opera 26 and Chrome are all jokes. No ability to put tabs on bottom? Get the hell out of here.

That is one of the important reasons why I prefer Firefox:cool:.

You can do this with Maxthon.

Yes but Maxthon has got other serious shortcomings IMO. On the other hand, it's the first browser using the Chrome engine with this ability. I wonder why Opera 26 can't do it.

Maxthon's adblocker could be better, and its extensions aren't kept that up to date. I don't even want to think about Opera 26. I still miss Presto. :'(

Still with Opera 12.xx on the old desktop.
I've grown accustomed to Chrome on Android.

Yes, absence of a good script-blocker is a no go. Maxthon had great potential but the developers went the wrong way IMO.

Mx and its inbuilt adblocker work well for most of the pages I use, however, for some, particularly YouTube and Photobucket I use Firefox (ABE) or even Chrome (ABP). I think Maxthon is brilliant on Windows (it doesn't really need extra extensions) and is probably the best Android browser I've ever used. Unfortunately it is a borkfest in Ubuntu. Oddly, it was the only WebKit-based browser that didn't crash my old Belnea laptop when it ran Vista. The less said about Vista the better.

I've just switched, for now to the latest build of Firefox Nightly. I'm using the nightly build as I though it used a seperate process for every tab opened. However, that's not the case.

I've never liked Firefox, but with Tab Mix Plus addon I find it quite usable.

I was for the most part, happy with TheWorld, but under Windows 10 the RAM usage is too high for my liking. It was not an issue under Windows 7, but under Windows 10 with 20+ tabs open (I always have at least 20 tabs open) my memory usage was at around 70%, and at times was 74%. My current laptop has only a 32bit CPU so I can't add any more tahn my current 3GB of RAM.

When I have some money and can add more RAM to another spare laptop I've got, I'll ditch this laptop and will probably go back to Sleipnir 5 on that laptop.

I can't tear myself away from Firefox.
I have tried other browsers, but Firefox is just too good.

Looks like Firefox kicks the butt out of Chrome on this forum at least.

The margin was much bigger several months ago though than it is now. I don't think a lot of people took well to v29... and include me among them.
