    Hi,

I have already submitted the sample but i didnt get any response...

I am the author of this software:

This is being detected as a virus:

    NOD32 6381 2011.08.16 a variant of Win32/Monitor.Espia

But, obviously, it is not a virus since my customers are free to install it and uninstall it (by just running the uninstaller file in the installation path) whenever they want, and also they need administrative rights in Windows to install it. The purposes of this program are mainly for parental control and employee monitoring. My program does not behave like a virus (does not spread by anyway, doesnt modify or touch any system file, etc).

This is damaging my image and makes me loose money because the leak of confidence from the user.

    You can download it from:

    Hope you can help,
    Rubén

ESET is not alone Brightcloud.com says
    And Trend Micro says...
VT results 8/ 43 (18.6%) on the executable.

    Just FYI.

Maybe the download link and site link should be undone for the time being?

The application is classified correctly as potentially unsafe due to its behavior and purpose (monitoring sw). Having said that, we'll draw this thread to a close.
