    i just tried this software
    http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
for encoding my videos and it works great
however if i try to encode my rmvb file using mp4 and the video codec as h264/avc,i get a virus warning involving a file called xh264.exe
anybody can double check for me?

I'll try to download it and to test for you! But check the file on www.virustotal.com

The file in question is corrupted, with a wrong entry point.

No, this one is not caused by the latest AH update. This file is definitely corrupted.

It would be nice if nonsenseposts are removed. They serve no purpose and are annoying .

You mean an e-mail to eRightSoft? Probably. They say they do not provide any technical support for any of their free products, but that does not mean they will not listen to problems about bugs.

By the way, which build are you using? The latest one they have posted on their website is v2006.build.13, dated January 1, 2006. Hmmmm, maybe they had not quite recovered from the night before. :D

I believe eRightSoft gets their x264 code library from here: http://developers.videolan.org/x264.html

We try to remove as many Troll posts as possible, occasionally one slips past.

The most important thing to remember is: "Do not feed the trolls" ;) :D

    Cheers :D
