'Failed update' on Smart Security 5

    My computer regularly notifies me that my Eset Smart Security 5 update has failed to load. I have a proper activation code in place and it's paid for thru 5/2014. Connectivity is good and I also get an 'Error creating temporary file name' message and the end of each failure to update. Can anyone tell me how to straighten this out?

    Thanks Tom, you're first link answered the issue, I just needed to reinstall a 'Temp' file in windows, it worked:)
    I appreciate your help.
