Someone has attached my frds photo in the profile & created an ID using her name & sending vulgar messages.
    What steps she should take?
    How to trace that person?

Very interesting, thanks fax for sharing the link. As I see, it isn't so simple to clear the hijacked Facebook profile. OK, to send a proof of identity is the smallest trouble but you have to submit the notary affidavit of your identity. Moreover you have to submit also a copy of the police report concerning your claim! All these steps costs money and time. It's unbelievable ... someone hijack your profile within less than a minute but you have to undergo so complicated and lengthy procedure to prove your claim. I'm glad I don't have a Facebook profile. I will inform my daughter about this but unfortunately I know that it will have a zero effect. Youngsters simply cannot live without all of such social services. What would they do without Facebook just after waking up?

And once you succeed, if at all, the hijacker will just create another profile. Just block the person and let your friends do the same.
