Facebook pushes @facebook.com email address in Contact Info, hides alternatives

    Yeah, I was surprised by it some days ago. It's weird to see FB assigning your profile to a "new email". lol

    That's not actually the case, Facebook has just made the pre-defined Facebook email assigned to you, public. The guide you posted, helps hiding (or not) the now publicly visible information, to your friends and others, the latter depends how well secure account is.

    That's what I didn't know. I didn't know/notice I had a pre-defined Facebook email assigned to my profile until they started to make it public some days ago. :p

    Most don't, I did know but I did not know that it was displayed in a manner which was unacceptable to my security standards - now hidden from view from everyone except moi.
