Will extFS allow me to connect to an ext3 drive shared on my local network?

Install ExtFS on the machine that has the drive plugged in locally. With the drivers installed, you should be able to mount, read and write. Then share out the drive on your network.

But will installing extFS for Mac allow me to connect (read/write) to a shared ext3 drive on my local network? Also, is it Snow Leopard compatible?

If it's shared from another machine, the read/write capability has to reside on that machine and not the just the computer that's mapped to it. Unfortunately ExtFS is not compatible with Snow Leopard yet.
